Class Curriculum

This 8-week class is focused on spiritual development for 10 year olds. Developed by Rabata, the unique program focuses on belief, character development, and value systems by learning about the spiritual heart, this life and the hereafter, doing good deeds, and dhikr. This program also reflects upon the Qur’an and Sunnah, focuses on Ibadah (worship), Ihsan (to obtain excellence in worship), hikma (wisdom), and learning about right and wrong actions. The content is delivered in a fun and engaging online environment taught by diverse certified Ribaat Instructors. Some of the topics that are covered in this class are:

  • Learn the blessings and possibilities of the month of Shawwal.

  • Identify the whispers of Shaitan.

  • Describe truth as found in the Qur'an and Sunnah.

  • Describe Hajj and its practices.

  • Recite the words of the Prophet (PBUH).

  • Discuss the Lunar calendar and the Hijra.

Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm CST

Session Dates: June 15th-August 17th

Please note: 

1. This class is designed for children born between the dates of:

June 30, 2011 - July 1, 2012

2. There is NO class on July 6th & July 13th for Dhul Hijja and Eid Al-Adha. 

3. For the privacy and protection of all our students, classes are NOT recorded. Students must attend live sessions. 

4. Program Policy: Once the session begins, NO refunds are allowed.

Aqsa Akram is a native of New Jersey. She holds a Master of Science in International Business, as well as a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, and is currently employed by a business process outsourcing multinational company. She is currently a student at the Ribaat Academic Institute where she is studying Islamic Sciences, Arabic and Tajwid. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends and re-reading and re-watching Harry Potter!
