Class Curriculum

This 8-week class is focused on spiritual development for 8-9 year olds. Developed by Rabata, the unique program focuses on belief, character development, and value systems by learning about the spiritual heart, this life and the hereafter, doing good deeds, and dhikr. This program also reflects upon the Qur’an and Sunnah, focuses on Ibadah (worship), Ihsan (to obtain excellence in worship), hikma (wisdom), and learning about right and wrong actions. The content is delivered in a fun and engaging online environment taught by diverse certified Ribaat Instructors. Some of the topics that are covered in this class are:

  • How to guard our hearts?

  • Describe truth as found in the Qur'an and Sunnah.

  • What is revelation?

  • Describe and learn the practices of Hajj

  • The story of the two wolves.

  • Discuss the difference between outwardly and inwardly good deeds.

  • Describe Tawwakul.

  • The importance of dhikr.

  • Learn about the Lunar calendar.

Saturdays 4:00 - 5:00 pm CST

Session Dates: June 18th - August 20th

Please note: 

1. This class is designed for children born between the dates of: 

June 30, 2013 - July 1, 2014 (8-year olds)

June 30, 2012 - July 1, 2013 (9-years old) 

2. There is NO class on July 9th & July 16th for Dhul Hijja and Eid Al-Adha. 

3. For the privacy and protection of all our students, classes are NOT recorded. Students must attend live sessions. 

4. Program Policy: Once the session begins, NO refunds are allowed.

Hafsa Abdul-Hakeem resides in New Jersey and works for a non-profit organization. She has a passion for islamic studies and Quranic Arabic and has travelled to 3 countries seeking to grow and learn the beauty of the faith, she remains a student of Islamic studies and teaches Quran classes online. Currently her work is focused in social services as a Case Manager and a Pantry Coordinator, “Come volunteer at your local non-profit! We’d love to have you!!”. She is a mom of two and a lover of the outdoors. You can catch her with her son hugging trees while hiking. She continues her Islamic studies with Ribaat and in 2020 completed the Ribaat Teacher Certification through the Ribaat Academic Institute.
