The Dragonflies Curriculum

An online program developed by Rabata which focuses on spiritual development for youth, covering belief, character development, and value systems. The class is taught by one of Rabata’s certified instructors in a welcoming, fun, and engaging environment.



Students will learn about: 


  • The spiritual heart, this life, and the hereafter

  • Right and wrong actions

  • Doing good deeds and cultivating a deep connection to Allah (swt)

  • Reflecting upon the Quran and Sunnah

  • Prophetic virtues that help us grow in our connection to Allah (swt), our communities, and the people around us

  • Notables figures in Islamic history, from prophets to companions to modern day Muslims

  • Performing acts of worship with confidence and love

The Rabata Difference:

Class Day & Time


Mondays 6:00 - 7:00 pm CST

Session Dates: January 13 - February 17


Please note: 

1. This class is designed for boys who are currently 8 and 9 years old. 

2. Enrollment into the Dragonflies program is on a per-student basis. If two (or more) students are planning to attend a class together by sharing a screen, each student will need to enroll for class individually. 

3. For the privacy and protection of all our students, classes are NOT recorded. Students must attend live sessions. 

4. Program Policy: Once the session begins, NO refunds are allowed.

Certificate of Participation


A certificate of participation will be given to students who complete the class.

This class meets once a week for one hour.

Instructor

Anse Carla Taylor currently works for Art & Wilderness Institute Community, where she leads backpacking trips, focuses on the non profit operations, and is the Director of Khulafa Al-Ard, an outdoor Islamic weekend nature program. Anse Carla volunteers her time with her local library and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. She currently resides in Southern California, but was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she attended San Jose State University. She has worked in the nonprofit field for over 15 years in various capacities, which have provided her with opportunities to serve her community and beyond.
