Class Curriculum

This 8-week class is focused on spiritual development for 7 year olds. Developed by Rabata, this unique program focuses on belief, character development, and value systems by learning about forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and the Oneness of God. It is also supported by stories from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (s), his companions, and other prophets mentioned in the Quran. It encompasses age appropriate songs, activities, interactive classes, and games. Some of the topics that are covered in this class are:

  • Discuss good qualities of the Prophets.

  • How does Allah SWT communicate with us through relevation?

  • Who was the last Prophet? How can we love him?

  • Discuss Hajj and its practices.

  • What is the Qur'an? Why do we memorize it? What is the message of the Qur'an?

  • Name and recite surahs of the Qur'an.

  • Discuss the Lunar calendar and how we use it.

Class Day & Time

Sundays 4:00 - 5:00 pm CST

Session Dates: June 12th-August 14th

Please note: 

1. This class is designed for children born between the dates of: 

June 30, 2014 - July 1, 2015

2. There is NO class on July 3rd & July 10th for Dhul Hijja and Eid Al-Adha. 

3. For the privacy and protection of all our students, classes are NOT recorded. Students must attend live sessions. 

4. Program Policy: Once the session begins, NO refunds are allowed.

Michelle Marie is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter. Growing up in Akron, OH she attended performing arts middle and high schools. From there she continued her studies in Virginia, where she toured the east coast performing classical repertoires. She not only loves to perform, but is an advocate and consumer of the arts. She enjoys traveling, science fiction and mystery books, and just spending time with people that she loves. Currently she serves as the Editorial Assistant for Daybreak Press Publishing, while also studying Arabic and Quran in Egypt. (Thank Allah for Zoom calls.)
